FG partners with AUDA- NEPED through the federal ministry of employment and labour to create employment and job.

AUDA which stands for Africa union development agency was established in 2001 as a developmental age of Africa union has announce its empowerment scheme with the ministry of labour and employment of Nigeria

AUDA-NEPAD which has its own mandate was created to coordinate and execute priority regional and continental projects to promote regional integration towards the accelerated realisation of Agenda 2063.

To strengthen the capacity of African Union Member States and regional bodies; advance knowledge-based advisory support, undertake the full range of resource mobilisation and serve as the continent’s technical interface with all Africa’s development stakeholders and development partners.

On June 1, 2020, the federal ministry of employment and labour announced through its permanent secretary that the federal government is Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) Skills Initiative for Africa (SIFA) Funding Window 1 initiated by NEPAD-South Africa.

the federal government of Nigeria has commenced many programs through its various ministry with the aims of development of its citizen the government is doing its own part in empowering its people. the announcement came during the ministry virtual meeting with AUDA-NEPAD.

The announcement which was disclosed by the by Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, William Alo at the virtual meeting of key stakeholders on the launch of New Partnership for Africa’s Development Skills Initiative for Africa.

The program which will empower Nigerian through various means of skills set from different sectors of the economy although they have not been any announcement when the program will kick start.
